Battlefield 6 update breaks the game!

Ana sayfa / News

For Battlefield 6 players, “winter” started a bit harshly. The highly anticipated Battlefield 6 Winter Offensive update (1.1.3.0) made headlines more for technical issues than for the new content it brought. Stuttering in the main menu, gameplay freezes, and a sluggish interface drew strong reactions from the community. Following numerous complaints, the developer studio broke its silence.

Following the rising community reaction, Battlefield Studios went into emergency mode to improve the player experience. Community Manager Kevin Johnson made the following statement on social media:

“I want to make it clear that your experience and feedback are important to us. All Battlefield Studios teams are working to address the identified issues and ensure your experience is as good as possible. Thank you for keeping us focused; fixes are either here or on the way.”

An additional statement from the studio acknowledged the widespread nature of the problem. Micro-stuttering, particularly on the PC platform, and slowdowns in the Firing Range, Portal mode, and main menu are currently being addressed as a priority.

The development team stated that they are working to fix remaining issues following the update released earlier this week for PC, which focused on stuttering. The statement read, “We will continue to verify solutions already under development, gather additional data from your reports, and prioritize remaining issues based on their severity.” The game is expected to stabilize with the release of hotfixes in the coming days.

So, have you experienced any issues with your Battlefield 6 Winter Offensive after the update? Have you encountered menu freezes? Share your thoughts in the comments!
